Pony Ranch

Pony Ranch gets its name from the award-winning miniature horses that previously roamed the ranch. Current owners Robert & Laurie Pousman are committed to continuing the tradition of producing the excellent grapes that the ranch is known for.

Just a stone's throw away from Mazzocco, and visible from our tasting room, the Pony Ranch provides us with Zinfandel and Petite Sirah grapes for our Pony Ranch Zinfandel, Zinfandel Reserve, and occasionally a very limited quantity of Petite Sirah that is only available to our club members.

Located in the "bench" of the renowned Dry Creek Valley, where hot, sun-filled days are followed by cool nights, the vineyard has deep clay/loam, well drained, and moderately fertile, rocky soil, yielding ideal conditions for fruit that continually produces award-winning wines.
