On Tuesday, June 30, Mazzocco Sonoma’s 2014 Sauvignon Blanc was poured at a luncheon in honor of the President of Brazil, Dilma Rousseff, hosted by Vice President Joseph Biden. Ken and Diane Wilson were also in attendance and we’re honored to be a part of this Diplomatic Culinary Partnership.

This project will give the United States a chance to showcase the very best of what the American culinary community has to offer. A network of chefs dedicated to sharing our diverse culinary tradition will advise the State Department and participate in cooking demonstrations here in America and abroad.

In many ways, the Department of State is the home of American diplomacy and our Presidents, Vice Presidents and Secretaries of States have used its famous Diplomatic Reception Rooms to host and entertain foreign leaders for decades.

Being a part of this emerging diplomatic and cultural initiative has been a great honor for us.
